Laura has been developing with FileMaker since 1992. A varied work background as wholesale and mail order sales manager, wholesale director, catering director, packaging engineer, construction contract and project manager, sales rep, office manager, and entertainment booking coordinator allows Laura to have a greater understanding of business process.
Laura is Chapter Coordinator for the local FMPug (FileMaker Professional Users Group), and co-founder of Master Builder University. Laura has been a FileMaker Solutions Alliance (now FileMaker Business Alliance) Associate member since 1997, member of the Seattle FMPug, a FileMaker TechNet members and is a FileMaker 8 Certified Developer.
We’ve been working with SolutionMakers now for about 8 years. We’re extremely satisfied. They know their product in depth and can design and apply its capabilities to best suit the need. If function issues arise, they are proactive in sourcing the problem and providing a solution (this happened once because they were not advised of software changes, and we were not charged for the numerous hours they spent troubleshooting). When we began working with SolutionMakers, we found that they understood our needs much better than we did. Some projects gave us benefits we hadn’t expected, at the same price. We have taxed them with some very complex projects, and always with excellent results.
Do they complete projects during the specified time frame and budget? Because they understand their product so fully, and investigate the need so thoroughly, they have always been on target with schedules and budgets.
